Post-Injury Rehabilitation

Post-injury rehabilitation in physical therapy focuses on helping you recover after an injury, restore function, and prevent future issues. Through a customized treatment plan, physical therapists use exercises, manual therapy, and specialized techniques to reduce pain, improve mobility, and rebuild strength. Whether you're recovering from a sports injury, accident, or surgery, our goal is to help you regain movement, improve flexibility, and return to your daily activities safely and efficiently. Post-injury rehab is designed to optimize recovery, reduce the risk of re-injury, and promote long-term health.

What conditions does post-injury rehabilitation include:

  • Sprains and strains (ankle, wrist, knee, etc.)

  • Muscle tears (e.g., hamstring, rotator cuff)

  • Ligament injuries (ACL, MCL, etc.)

  • Tendon injuries (Achilles tendonitis, tennis elbow, etc.)

  • Fractures (after casting or surgical repair)

  • Dislocations or subluxations

  • Labral tears (hip or shoulder)

  • Overuse injuries (runner’s knee, shin splints)

  • Concussions (in coordination with other providers)

  • Groin pulls, hip flexor strains

  • Jumper’s knee (patellar tendonitis)

  • Rotator cuff and shoulder instability

  • Whiplash and neck injuries
